  8. In Tajikistan the government is pushing a official narrative saying basically “we are true aryans” and keep inviting Germans diplomats to events about aryanism, it’s really something.

    I remember being in a bookstore in Istanbul and you could buy “Mein Kampf” wrapped in ribbon and presented as a great gift idea.

  26. Yeah, when i was a kid i got a cola for free from a street vendor in Tunis when he heard us speak German, followed by the Elon-salute and everything

  30. I had acquaintances who travelled rural India, and people on the trains/busses asked them if Hitler was still alive/if they liked him. But to them, they don’t really have a concept of who he is, he is just a famous face (or the most famous German face for that matter).

    Maybe people should learn about how it is when your country is totally destroyed, and a lot of your young men are dead or in pow camps. then they migh be less eager to strive for wars in their own countries.

  38. A couple of years ago I was in Delhi for business and we came across a store, some kind of bodega. There was literally no connection to it at all, but the sign outside said ADOLF HITLER and had swastikas (the Nazi ones) on each side. It’s just popular lol
