3. Don’t they both have detailed map of where each other fixed positions are anyway, first couple volleys has to be devastating for each side for fixed structures

15. This probably sounds stupid but wouldn’t smaller wheeled battery’s be more effective? I understand the need for fixed artillery at certain locations but seems to me mobility would be more important especially in mountainous and hilly terrain.
