Looking at it objectively If i was a heartless bastard id say there should be scope for the victims parents to be hauled up in front of a judge too for the same reason but they’ve suffered enough have very sadly learned the hard way. I’m truly at a loss for words. They were both children… and now both of their lives are over. I don’t know how we combat this, but there’s been a global shift of little boys who are just… not showing any regard for human life. We see it in how they interact with little girls, adults, and in this case, each other.

We’re just going to end up with a violent dickhead 19 year old, the result seems inevitable.

The judge’s hands are tied here by the absurd guidance from the Sentencing Council but Scotgov has no excuse for not using its powers to get that guidance recinded- whether by their statutory power to require a review or by direct legislation..

60*0.66= 39.6 months
39.6/12= 3 years 4months.
