Turkey’s Response To Operation Sindoor
As India carried out Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps of Lashkar and Jaish groups, Turkey responded to it, saying that it “raises the risk of an all-out war.”
“We expect that measures will be taken to reduce tensions in the region as soon as possible and that the necessary mechanisms, including in the field of counter-terrorism, will be put in place to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents. We also support Pakistan’s call for an investigation into the 22 April terrorist attack,” added an official statement.
Pahalgam Terrorist Attack
Terrorists opened fire in Pahalgam’s Baisaran valley on April 22, killing 25 tourists and one local. In response to the attack, India took several punitive measures against Pakistan, including the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty.
Fourteen days after the terrorist attack, the Indian Defence forces carried out a series of military strikes in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and targeted terror camps.
Pakistan made a failed attempt to target 15 military sites in the northern and western parts of India in retaliation for Operation Sindoor.
