    Central bankers, judges, civil servants, emergency workers…apparently everyone is a petty arsehole who is happy to put their jobs and, more importantly, strangers’ livelihoods at risk just to annoy someone they dislike.

    It astounds me that his supporters can’t see the projection.

  10. It could be because he’s not in love with Trump—or, more likely, because he’s following the Fed’s dual mandate: managing inflation and supporting employment. Ironically, Trump’s own tariffs are inflationary, which only makes it harder for the Fed to justify cutting rates.

    But, sure… tell yourself it is because he doesn’t love you.
