I like it. It’s proper satire that mocks the Belgian government and their obviously corrupt entanglement with the diamond sector.
Because the line between fake news and reality wasn’t blurred enough already.
I don’t know how De Morgen goes about this, but I know a Dutch newspaper (Volkskrant) has satire articles on the back of their physical newspaper. Everyone knows those articles are satire, they have their separate section. Online (or in an app) it’s much harder to make the distinction, really the only thing you can do is put a ‘satire’ flag as obvious as you can, which I think De Morgen succeeded in quite well.

Wtf dit is geschift en de persoon die dit heeft beslist mag zijn job verliezen.
Mensen gaan niet opletten en verkeerde info delen, Ezo bovenaan in een hoekje satire schrijven maakt geen verschil en dat weten ze zelf ook.
Ieder ander magazine of nieuwsuitgave die satire uitbrengt creëert een nieuw magazine onder een andere naam. Noem het “Het Gisteren” ofzo en vervangt da rood door groen en voila je bent ethisch bezig. Maar jach dan deelt dat minder dan onder de naam van De Morgen é. Je kan natuurlijk ook proberen goede satire te schrijven.
Maak je je De Zorgen?
Wtf … dat gaat helpen … belachelijke politici … beetje nutteloos met geld gooien. Wat heeft zelensky daar nu aan, en ondertussen een schoon signaal voor elke burger waarvan er velen zijn die ‘t nie gemakkelijk hebben. Fuck toch ff lekker off.
