David Clifford would like to be part of any prospective Irish international rules squad later this year when the series is expected to be revived after an eight-year gap.
Plans are in the pipeline for two Tests in Ireland in October after talks between a GAA delegation, led by president Jarlath Burns, and AFL representatives in Dublin in March.
