FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) — MUSC Health Florence, Marion and Black River Medical Centers held their annual nursing recognition ceremony at the Eddie Floyd Conference Center on the campus of MUSC Florence.

The event was a chance for MUSC Health to honor their dedicated, hardworking nurses during National Nurses Week.

As part of the ceremony, they named the division’s Nurse of the Year, Unit of the Year, Nursing Support Champion, Nursing Leadership Champion, Physician Friend of Nursing and the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) of the Year.

All of the nurses wore their traditional nurse uniforms with white caps, which added a nostalgic touch to the event.
