
My kids asked me to help push the corner in of this empty milk bottle and I had no idea what they were talking about until I noticed there is indeed a perforated section there.. Is this new? What is it for? I've never noticed it before.

To separate the plastic upper part from the lower cardboard lined part.
I’ve no idea about its *intended* purpose but it should help tremendously when flattening the empty bottles so that they take up less space in the bin.
I suspect it’s a weak point for when the empty and closed bottle get inflated due to fermentation
It’s probably for letting air in, so when you pour it into a cup it doesn’t spout out as you’re beginning to lift and turn it back upwards.

It‘s to access the few extra drops of milk remaining when the pak is empty. 😉
Its that the milk can breath…
Off topic but i hate that they changed most of the milk packages to this one. They tell us reduce plastic but force us to buy plastic this way? Makes no sense at all
