It’s possible, but it’s very unlikely Russia just lets this go. Too much was lost or given up already to just accept defeat…would need to be a near complete Ukrainian victory *and* long term security guarantees because Russia *will* try this again in the future.

It depends on what you define by ‘win’. Is Ukraine losing Crimea, the Donbas and possibly the entire south of their country with no access to the sea a win? Russia could freeze the conflict like that and irreversabily change Ukraine’s geography.
With their pre-war prognosis aka Russia could take Kyiv in 3 days, I wouldn’t trust those guys at all.
I certainly hope so. If Russia is successfully repulsed, Putin is done. A personalist dictatorship just does not survive that kind of failure.

But at what cost?. Russia is playing the dirty game targeting mostly civilians first aiders and critical infrastructure. Even if /when Ukraine wins.. they will need to be let into nato Asap and following that into the EU- to get funds for rebuilding.
France/ or other nato members should also send nuclear warheads to ukraine and bolsten their defence as a Great Wall of the west european front.
