There is a time and a fucking place George. Also, how condescending to think people don’t know this.
British history is 1000s of years long. And very complex. So you have three options:
* Lie (oversimplify and do so flatteringly).
* Know nothing about it
* Spend decades studying it, since it’s all interconnected, and even then you won’t get any firm answers to moral questions because by definition there aren’t any.
