Man suffers from stroke; Apple Watch calls 911

An Ohio man says he’s alive today. All thanks to his Apple Watch. The device called 911 after he collapsed midworkout. 57year-old Derek Grant was jumping rope when he suddenly fell to the ground. When his Apple Watch first asked for help, he said he didn’t need it, but moments later, the device automatically called 911 when it sensed he was in distress. Grant was having a stroke, but thanks to the devices’s quick actions, he made a full recovery.
