  1. Dynamic pricing was the strat over the last several years.

Now though we get the added benefit of tariffs.

  2. Utah state employees just got a whole whopping 2.5% COL raise…. it’s the best kind of pay ~~raise~~ cut.

  3. My wages have decreased by 7.8% since 2020.

The raises that are given out are paltry and meaningless.

    Raise In Name Only.

  4. You got a raise? My state just passed a new budget cutting funding to education across the board by 20%. I’ll be lucky to have a job next school year.

  5. How do workers that make average money survive in a economic system where inflation is baked into the system where 2 percent is the bottom floor inflation rate?

  6. Hasn’t this been the trend since like the ’70s or ’80s?

  7. I tried to explain this to the MAGAts in my union. They simply don’t care.

  8. The company I work for does the same 3% raise each year. Doesn’t matter if you’ve outperformed your peers or not. The only time I’ve gotten more is when I’ve asked and had to fight for it. Make notes every time you take on more responsibility, take on a project or leadership role, do your research to see if you are underpaid for your position. Even if you’re happy at your job, it doesn’t hurt to interview for other jobs, and if you get an offer, that is your biggest bargaining chip to ask for a significant raise.

  9. The average pay raise is like 3%. The average salary jump from switching companies is like 30%.

Never be loyal to a company.

  10. Most will find themselves in this situation. For many years to come, if the tariffs are not lifted.
