This is getting out of control, for fuck’s sake when are we going to get our fucking shit together humanity!
Do they not have Starcraft in south asia? Why is no one building missile defense systems? It seems like every missile is getting through.
Pakistan Army do not care about thier civilians…if they cared about thier civilian they would have not esclated with India, knowing very well thier own Air defense is not working….or maybe they would not have sent terrorist…
Can someone with a lot more knowledge then me give me some cliff notes, is this going to full blown war? Is it already there? What does this conflict look like moving forward?
“We’re on the brink now because we keep reacting to things we don’t understand. We’re scared, we’re hurt, and we’re reaching for violence because we can’t figure out what to do.” James Holden – Abaddon’s Gate, The Expanse
What’s with this wanky work around to declaring war. If you’re going to kill thousands and shoot enemy soldiers with your soldiers at least have the balls to come out and say it.
Russia did the same in Ukraine. ‘Special military operation’ as if it’s a training exercise and not sending men to die for fuck all the cunts.
Is it too much to ask for them to just, like, not do this?
Key Developments:
• Missile Strikes and Retaliation: Pakistan reported that Indian missiles targeted three of its airbases—Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot. In response, Pakistan launched retaliatory strikes, dubbed “Operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos,” targeting Indian military installations, including sites in Pathankot and Udhampur.
• Drone and Missile Interceptions: India’s S-400 air defense system intercepted multiple Pakistani missiles and drones aimed at various locations, including Jammu and Jaisalmer.
• Civilian Impact: In Punjab’s Ferozepur district, a Pakistani drone attack injured three civilians. Additionally, a 7-hour blackout was enforced in Gujarat’s border districts, including Kutch and Banaskantha, as a precautionary measure.
• Airspace and Transportation Disruptions: Pakistan closed its airspace nationwide, while India suspended operations at 32 airports across northern and western regions, including Srinagar and Amritsar, until May 15.
• International Reactions: Saudi Arabia has called for immediate de-escalation, and the G7 nations have urged both countries to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue to prevent further conflict.
The situation remains volatile, with both nations on high alert and the international community closely monitoring developments.
Where this goes, no one is too sure. Both countries need to ‘win’ for their people. Indias been embarrassed by how many of their planes have already been shot down and need a big win before they can de-escalate. Pakistan finally has its people’s support for their army again and will try and make their people proud to get popularity again.
It’s a lose lose situation as it’s escalated so far that major losses on both sides have to be made for them to stop and go back to their people to showcase the ‘win’.
can we just chill for a sec please
So we get WW3 before GTA6.
Cool two nuclear armed nations are at war with eachother. This bodes poorly.
The world are ruled by idiots.
I was expecting another border conflict not an indirect declaration of war. I could be wrong, but Pakistan simply doesn’t have the financial capacity to sustain a war. Any extended conflict lasting more than a week would likely push them to seek a ceasefire. Their economy is in a fragile state—foreign exchange reserves hover around $15 billion, and their military stockpile might not support more than a week of full-scale warfare.
Hopefully this war ends without any ground invasion or larger escalation.
A new front of WW3 has opened up.
On the bright side, if it was a “special” military operation then we’d know this would take a while.
Pakistan is a Rogue Country which doesn’t really have a Real government. Its Ruled by the Army behind the Civilian Facade installed by the Army to avoid Scrutiny from the west so they can recieve Aid
Aaight that’s not good…
man, will we get WWIII before GTA VI? I hate this timeline
Pakistani here, I’ve been up for almost 24 hours. Around 2am or so, India launched missiles that hit an airbase a few miles from where I live.
It genuinely felt like three to four explosions at once. Our military launched this operation as retaliation for the missiles.
I am hoping things calm down. No matter my feelings towards India, War is never the answer.
Good thing we have so many infants, morons, and drunks manning all the important posts in the American government in times like this.
Between this and Trump saying baseline 10% tariffs no matter what, SPY new ATH Monday.
This wouldn’t have happened under Biden.
Alright lemme straighten this out
Just after US and Tim Apple said hey we are gonna pivot to India and pull out all our manufacture from China, India started blasting around and being blasted.
Coincidence or China is the ultimate player?
Pakistan’s latest stunt, dubbed “Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos,” is a flimsy attempt to mask its internal failures with external aggression. The claim of “continuous Indian provocation” is a tired excuse, conveniently ignoring Pakistan’s decades-long track record of funding terrorism and destabilizing Kashmir. Their military’s boast of striking India’s BrahMos facility in Beas and airbases in Pathankot and Udhampur lacks any verifiable proof—just empty rhetoric to prop up a failing regime. India’s measured response, intercepting missiles and launching precise counterstrikes, exposes Pakistan’s military posturing as ineffective. With a GDP drowning in debt and outdated weaponry, Pakistan’s ballistic missile threats are more theatrical than tactical. The G7’s call for dialogue further isolates Pakistan, revealing global skepticism of their narrative. This operation isn’t a show of strength; it’s a desperate cry from a nation on the brink.
Everyone needs to chill. They’re not going to start dropping nukes on their neighbours no matter how much they hate each other!! That’s more of a ‘we’re about to lose out capital and this is our last resort’s type reaction.
They’ve got plenty of conventional war to go yet
Can’t we just have a Bollywood style dance battle?
None of you know what you are talking about.
If any nukes are used and it doesn’t lead to Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD), everyone is FUCKED. That means tactical nukes are on the table for all countries everywhere. As long as it doesn’t IMMEDIATELY destroy the world, no problem. Basically, it allows for world wars to be ok again as long as it doesn’t destroy the enemy all at once.
But here is the thing, it basically assures it, because eventually someone will feel overly threatened, or miscalculated and hit the big red button thinking this time it will be OK, but it isn’t.
