Hey Everyone,
I am a student from Ireland doing an Eramsus Masters. Each semester we study in a new country and for September to January I will be studying at MHH in Hanover. As an EU student I thought I’d be entitled to the same rights as a german citizne but it seems not?
Kfw says I have to be a resident for 3 years, is this true?
The Netherlands had a similar tactic to try and prevent EU but non-dutch residents from getting the low-interest loan. However, since all EU citizens should be entitled to equal rights, they were brought to court and had to hand out the loan to EU students, there is even a law firm that specialises in this. Perhaps its a similar case for Germany?

Any advice would be most helpful.
