Democracy is being eroded away by central government, I think local government having more power to decide would be better for us the little people. Local people elected by local people knowing the ins and outs of the area.
Who knows it may prove to be so successful central government would become obsolete. No need for public school educated, privileged arseholes to make things difficult for us, looks like a win to me.
