Its all bollocks. They are paying €14 ph for driving a bus on shift, but the shifts for the new hires are all weekends and nights, which would normally command a shift allowance of 22% to 28%. But its included in the advertised rates with “an opportunity to progress to day shifts and midweek” yeah, when the existing staff retire or quit their jobs that pay way more and have social hours.

You get a deadly alarm that tells people you’re being attacked and to call 999 and wait for the Garda to arrive and give you a half eaten freddo bar and send you on your way tho. Perks.
Really not leaning into the thank yous these days with them only using the middle doors.
Also the 27 bus…getting this from Crumlin to Tallaght was always an adventure.

I called these 2 people Monday-Sunday takeaway scum and a user private messages me telling me off for it and the 2 people in this clip had every reason to defend themselves.

I swear after working in bars over 20 years if the driver opened his hatch and put it right up to these cunts 90% shit themselves, but they’re so used to people backing down – as instructed by the workers employers not to get involved but I have seen and acted myself were I’m not putting up with these dregs anymore and as soon as you get a back bone and give it to them the same way as they try and give it to you then they suddenly start crying that you are victimising them, that they done nothing and you started giving them grief for no reason and are picking on them. Since Thursday night till Monday night I spent the majority of my shifts explaining to travellers – who we do not discriminate and serve without question, that I cannot serve them any longer after they for some reason sit at the same table but need to scream at each other, rather then talk at a normal volume, upsetting other guests night, making them feel uneasy with a fear that trouble could occur. This cause’s custom you would love to have any day to leave and not return, all cause you must abide by the rules, but when the rowdy group come back the next night if you dare refuse them because of their actions and your lost business they then threaten they will wreck the premises if you won’t serve them, well last night was enough for me and when they threatened to do me in and the pub I just had enough and told them to fucking do it. Never tolerate bullies, these shite bags left after that. Trust me they are a well know large traveller family from north and south Dublin but we have to stand up to every prick in this country be it white collar scumbag or tracksuit wearing scumbag.
