It was a busy Saturday for the emergency services, with motorcycle accidents, a cyclist hit by a car, and a head-on collision between two vehicles.

Emergency services reported at least seven injuries across Luxembourg on Saturday morning.

The first incident occurred shortly before 2am, when a car accident on the A6 motorway near the Capellen rest area left one person injured.

Just after midday, two cars collided on the road between Godbrange and Heffingen. The Luxembourg SAMU, along with ambulances from Junglinster and Lintgen, responded to the scene. The Junglinster fire brigade was also deployed. Three people were injured in the crash.

Shortly before 1pm, two motorcyclists fell near Lultzhausen, prompting the intervention of the rescue helicopter. Several ambulances and the Alebesch fire brigade were also on site, with two people receiving medical attention.

At around 2.30pm, a cyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Mondorf-les-Bains on Route de Remich. Emergency services, including the medical helicopter, the local fire brigade, and an ambulance from Remich, responded.

In addition to the road incidents, the CGDIS also tackled a forest fire in Wemperhardt, near the Belgian border. Fire brigades from Weiswampach and Troisvierges worked alongside their Belgian counterparts from Burg-Reuland to bring the fire under control.
