Parents say that the girl severely injured in attack outside her Gaelscoil in Parnell Square in Nov 2023, has now returned back to school full-time.

  3. I love receiving these updates and I’m delighted this girl is going back to school but my heart sill breaks for the family. I hope things can get better for them and her especially.

  8. I feel like it should be mentioned in the title that it’s not mainstream school that she’s returned to. And that’s not to take away from how far she’s come at all, I follow her GFM page for updates and am always astounded by her drive, but it’s important to highlight just how much her life, and the family’s life has been changed because of this. 
    It’s an amazing win for her, and I hope she keeps hitting those milestones, but this should never have happened to her. Knife crime in this country is terrifying on every level, and this was that man’s second time with a knife in public. It shouldn’t have happened.

    Ironic though how the ‘masta’ of this thread will let news like this on the TL yet won’t let anything positive from the migrant population through lately. Seems like only 1 perspective is acceptable on here anymore. Many have been suspended and banned from this thread for posting positive news stories.
    But that’s a side note and the main focus should be on a happy and healthy child
