Alla leið, the Icelandic preview show for the Eurovision Song Contest, concluded this evening, reviewing this year’s entries.

In the final episode of the series the panel reviewed the entries from the Big Five and the host country of Switzerland. The episode culminated in the two panels predicting the top ten for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. JJ from Austria was named the winner ahead of KAJ from Sweden.

The combined top tens were:

🇸🇪 Sweden: KAJ – “Bara bada bastu” – 1st and 2nd
🇳🇱 Netherlands: Claude – “C’est la vie” – 5th and 3rd
🇮🇱 Israel: Yuval Raphael – “New Day Will Rise” – 4th and 5th
🇪🇪 Estonia: Tommy Cash – “Espresso macchiato” – 3rd and Outside top ten
🇫🇮 Finland: Erika Vikman – “Ich komme” – Outside top ten and 4th
🇫🇷 France: Louane – “Maman” – 6th and 9th
🇧🇪 Belgium: Red Sebastian – “Strobe Lights” – Outside top ten and 6th
🇲🇹 Malta: Miriana Conte – “Serving” – 10th and 8th
🇳🇴 Norway: Kyle Alessandro – “Lighter” – 8th and outside top ten
🇦🇿 Azerbaijan: Mamagama – “Run With U” – 7th and Outside top ten
🇺🇦 Ukraine: Ziferblat – “Bird of Pray” – 9th and outside top ten
🇨🇭 Switzerland: Zoë Më – “Voyage” – Outside top ten and 10th

Alla leið has been produced by the Icelandic broadcaster since 2008. The show sees the guests scoring the competing songs between 1 and 12 points. Previous winners of the Alla leið preview shows include:

Iceland debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1986 and, aside from 2 years of relegation in 1998 and 2002, has participated every year since. The contest is incredibly popular in Iceland, regularly being one of the most-watched programs of the year. Iceland has yet to win the contest but has finished in 2nd on two occasions. In 1999, Selma missed out on victory in Jerusalem by 17 points, and in 2009 Yohanna became the most successful Icelandic entrant ever finishing 2nd in the final with the song “Is it True?”. She scored 218 points, yet still finished 169 points behind the runaway winner Norway.
