Rishi Sunak says he chose tax cuts over welfare support but accepts tax burden rising

  1. What.

    Tax.

    Cuts.

1p tax cut two years from now?

Increasing the national insurance tax threshold to 12,750?

    Cutting VAT on insulating homes?

5p tax off at the pump when they’re already expensive already?

Is that the marvellous and generous tax cuts he’s referring to?

Hardly any of this changes anything really. Taxes are still going up and relief is no where in sight and bollocks to anyone on social credit you can get stuffed it seems.

  2. So….he admits not helping those at the bottom, the most vunerable, while claiming to help the most vunerable…I’m stunned a Tory lied, misled and deceived, stunned

  3. “Some of you may die….” and all the small dick energy attending it … seriously, what a fucking jerk … unless it was what he had to do when listening to Putin’s masterful voice.

  4. So it’s not that there is no money to do it. He just simply chooses not to.

In the face of rising cost of living, rising number of people using food banks, etc..

Yet the plebs will continue to vote in Tories every chance they get. I don’t understand this country.

  5. Benefits are going up by 3.1%, they went up by 1.7% last year.
So that’s 4.8% in 7 years, as they were frozen for the previous 5.

7 years ago electricity was a quarter of what it will cost next week.

  6. Once again, don’t ever believe his lies. He does not cut taxes. He has risen taxes 15 individual times since he became chancellor

  7. He chose welfare cuts before the cost of living crisis was on the horizon anyway. It’s not like the Tories have a history of helping the poor and disabled as it is, so I do not know why they pretend as if they were ever entertaining the idea of increasing benefits payments. As for tax cuts, even the likes of the Mail are coming out against the government over the fuel duty cut. You know you have lost when even the Mail refuses to back your alleged tax cuts.

  8. This is not the time for tax cuts you privelidged Tory twatt! Will you please tax the fekking energy companies just like your heroine Mrs T did with North Sea oil. And investigate where all that COVID PPE fraud money went while you’re at it. Call yourself s chancellor?
Utterly out of touch with reality.

  9. But didn’t they just take £20 a week off universal credit? That’s a devastating cut for the poorest people. Don’t quite understand how they’ll survive.

  10. We need better pay regulations to increase cash flow and we need better support for those who need it. If people were being paid properly I think they’d accept paying more tax especially after the pandemic, brexit, war in Europe etc.

  11. Swindle you with words everytime, waffle about total trout and somehow manage to regurgitate paragraphs of toilet water void of any meaning or relevance to your lives and you still fall for it, a man in a suit is a businessman and that is no man
