  1. I finally saw a bittern at St Aidans today! I was walking around a corner and I scared it and it flew off. I enjoyed watching the terns fishing, and was finally able to see the black necked grebes in decent light.

    I wanted to go to bed at a sensible time, but I can hear live music happening, and I’m not sure if it’s worth trying to sleep. I’m not sure exactly what’s going on, my area is normally very quiet so I think the sound must be coming from quite some distance away.

  4. For a good while I have been sleeping over nine hours a night, doing bugger all during the day, while still needing a long nap in the afternoon. Today I changed the script in a rather dramatic fashion. I was out of bed hours before my alarms had a chance to go off, I spent hours outside, walking further in one day than I probably have in the last month, I had an amazing lunch with my brother, and when he dropped me off at home instead of collapsing into bed for a well earned rest, I changed the bloody sheets.

    Twenty hours later, I am still up. The pain I hoped would come tomorrow is already here tonight, and I am slightly concerned that my body will simply refuse to move in the morning. But I wouldn’t change anything about today, getting out into green spaces had been amazing, especially given how gorgeous the weather was.

  5. I’m achy from gardening and fence painting and my neighbours have just got back from the pub and are shouting at each other

  6. Went to the beach , had chips , fussed a dog , a puppy and a parrot then got a new piece of jewellery.

    I need a rest day as iv been doing lots since Wednesday so body isnt happy maybe cleaning bedding will help me sleep hopefully.

  7. Had some time away from social media, got my hair cut, nails done, bought a couple of new outfits and some new make up. Feeling a little more human and ready to step back in. Not to advocate spending to feel better, but some selfish self care has worked wonders for my mental health.
