2. We live in such a selfish, destructive society. Horrible individuals ruin things for the majority and never seem to get any justice for it.

3. The time it would take to go round doing 150 trees, you could get an actual job and get a few hours pay

10. We have that here in Inverness with twats killing newly planted trees, setting fire to bins and life preservers. 

    We are a far cry away from the poverty, crime and gang or road man style culture found in larger cities, so it’s ridiculous that these selfish and petty acts are occurring. 

    Why are people such shits these days?

11. Same happened in Cardiff. Some beautiful saplings presented to us by the Japanese government.

    Don’t those trees look a bit too close together?

    I’m not expert, but planting trees likely isn’t something so can do willy nilly – you need some understanding of how much light and space the trees need along with understanding of biodiversity.
