Been up since 5. Lovely day today. Going out into the garden. Had a flooded drain midweek so going to wash the patio and tidy up.
Been sat reading for the last hour. Cuppa and Clive Barker. A great way to start the day. Kids and wife still dreaming. Will get breakfast on for them soon.
Going to try and empty a few pots of dead things that did t survive the winter, remove some weeds, and put some algae remover down on the paving
Not a lazy day for me! However I wish it was after only having one day off this week…
Working today, so leaving for the hospital in about an hour
Well, I’m awake but in plenty of pain, so not sure what I’ll be up to doing. Going to start with breakfast, a cuppa, and Match of the Day, then see what my body allows me to do today. Have a lovely day, everyone!
Just been awake for 20 minutes. A quick shufty at Reddit then breakfast and coffee. Mrs and I will be using today to prep for our city break to Leeds tomorrow. Looking forward to visiting this beautiful xity for a few days.
Checking out a new play area today, what a life! Back for lunch and this afternoon it’ll be sorting stuff for next week- meal plan, online shop, clothes etc in between building Lego/Playmobil set ups. Bath and picky tea.
All we need is The House of Elliot and it’s basically my Sunday’s from when I was also at primary school 🤣
Hopefully tonight we can finish the white lotus with some Easter egg once the child is in bed!
First bbq of 2025 will be happening. Doing some studying for a potential course im thinking about and I have an interview tomorrow that I’ll need to polish up some questions for. I so hope I can hand in my notice at work this week 🤞

A morning at a steampunk event, to my parents’ for lunch then an afternoon watching Badminton horse trials!
Kids awake at 6.30am. I’m making some homemade hot cross buns for breakfast as a Sunday treat to help ease the early start. Nice and quiet outside. We live in the Devon countryside. Birds are chirping, sun is out. We have baby chicks that are officially a week old today so nice to start the day with them too. Today’s going to be a good day! Happy Sunday everyone.
Get up, walk the dogs, quick trip to Halfords and Go Outdoors, go for a run. Then it’s feet up with some TV, think I might watch Conclave and The Apprentice (the one with Sebastian Stan). I’m hearing people say BBQ and I might have to jump on that too!
Had a walk down to the front today, the river was lovely!
I had planned to stay in bed for the rest of the day, but I’m so behind at work that I need to log in for a few hours.
Also, quick shopping trip to LIDL is on the cards.
