    We need more polls to show she will win this election.

  11. The chaos will be unbelievable. Anyway I always suspected the French to be quite extreme right wing. Assuming the immigrant portion is not voting for her, she clearly has the majority of the ethnic French vote.

    And they call us backwards.

  12. I understand that people in Europe start being upset but Macron is responsible for this, indirectly with his politics and directly by targeting Muslims etc. He played with fire and now gets burned. He hopes leftist will vote for him in the second round but most won’t (I won’t for example )

    any experts pls explain: polls , IIRC, have shown to have very limited predictive power. Prediction markets seem to do a better job. Am I wrong or should use prediction markets instead of polls more often?

    If you abstain from voting, that just gives Le Pen more chances to win, vote for macron not because you like it, but because it’s the lesser of two evils seeing what could happen.

  24. Oh fuck, France don’t do it. Another Fidesz or PiS would be a disaster and as we see, getting rid of them is very hard when they will start to dissasemble democracy to retain power (and they definitely will).
