  1. I thought you were about to say it was now 20 smaller bags because the bomb squad had had a gander at it…

  2. I would just alert staff, would generally avoid touching an unattended item

  3. Mmmm, I hope you told the station staff?! I wouldn’t have touched it if you paid me.

  4. The correct procedure is to report it to the police immediately. There could be something dangerous in there.

  5. Looks just like my bag but I can see mine so don’t think it is, thanks though

  6. Thousands of items are lost on the underground. Contact lost property if you lose something.

If we start announcing every item we’ll be in a right pickle. And it gives potential bad actors an in to claim it. They have a location, date and can describe it now.

  7. I left my plain black ugly, old, and horrible looked after bag at Stratford train station when I was like 16 during GCSE time. It had basically EVERYTHING I needed for exams in it. I was devastated. Everyone knows those announcements, but the staff just kept it in their lil box things they sat in all day, and I got it back, so hopefully, they will find it again

  8. Ah sorry left me bomb there, thanks mate I’ll go fetch it

  9. Hilarious to see all the paranoid tabloid brainwashed people on here.

  10. As a child of the 70’s & 80’s I feel this should result in a controlled explosion followed by a convoluted explanation as to why that essay was late.

  11. Text the British Transport Police on 61016. They’ll sort it.

    See it. Say it. Sorted.
