    Most presidents in the past would have asked Congress about this, and Congress needs to approve this “deal” but like most things I doubt Trump’s going to follow the historical guidelines.

  15. It doesn’t make sense to retrofit this to the requirements of the fleet and then turn it over for private use. What is far more likely is that this plane – which is a standard 747-8i in VIP configuration – stays in exactly that configuration and then becomes Trump’s personal transport, replacing the 757, when he leaves office.
