Zelensky says that a full and lasting ceasefire may begin tomorrow, and he will personally be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday

My analysis of this situation is that, as a result of the alleged upcoming massive ballistic missile strike on Ukraine preceded by the closure of the airspace above Kapustin Yar on the night of the 12th-13th May, Zelenskyy is proposing a full unconditional ceasefire tomorrow (just before this so called attack is supposed to take place) so that if Russia proceeds with the attack, it’s going to make them look very bad diplomatically and most importantly in the eyes of the USA. This could then lead to Trump potentially sending more aid to Ukraine as Russia would clearly demonstrate that they have no interest in peace. So basically, Zelenskyy is playing 4D chess. These are my thoughts, but I could just be yapping.

  8. provocation aside. what would ukraine gain from the ceasefire? troop rotation, better defenses really matter little in the grand scope when russia “carpet bombs” civilians

    Russia is on the ropes right now, but I still doubt Putin is willing to give up the areas of Ukraine that he controls.
