    > And I will be waiting for Putin on Thursday in Turkey. Personally. I hope this time the Russians won’t be looking for excuses why they can’t come.”

  2. There won’t be a ceasefire and Trump has said that Ukraine nonetheless should go to Turkey to at least see what Russia has to say. Can Zelensky afford to reject Trump? Don’t think so if they want more sanctions.

  3. Putin is not ready. Will only make demands. This will go on until Russian economy fails.

  4. Bet Russia is gonna use another MIRV right as talks are about to happen to argue from strength

  5. Putler NEEDS his war to stay in power, and avoid breathing less.

  6. It’s all theatre for Trump’s ego.

Which is, really, the main play right now: because he knows russia doesn’t actually want peace.

  7. What happened to the international arrest warrant against Putin? Has he been to Turkey before without them enforcing it?
Don’t you weaken your own position if you allow loopholes and take back your sanctions?

  8. I hope his security detail are well rested, because they won’t be getting much sleep for a while.

  9. The brass ba*ls on this guy never ceases to amaze me. Not that he’ll even need them, he plays the ball back to Russia’s court.

  10. My bet is Putin will never come himself, he will send a double with delegation that will not have the authority to agree to anything and they’ll just delay.

  11. I want to see Zelensky and Putin together in person. They both need to sit down in front of each other instead of all these other representatives trying to discuss a peace deal. Why hasn’t anyone or any country tried to force Zelensky and Putin to meet directly in person together?

  12. Putin still has an international arrest warrant issued against him. Would turkey be obligated to arrest him if he arrived?
