So this poisonous zeppelin just flew into my flat, buzzed about causing a bit of mayhem then crashed into the radiator and flipped upside down…

I kinda wanna help it out but if that's a stinger a boot might accidentally fall on him

  5. Looks like a Maybug or a Cockchafer (yea I know), harmless bug, makes alot of noise, very clumsy… didn’t think they were as far north as NI but there you go

  7. Could be a type of mining bee, did you get any photos of it the right way up? Thankfully it doesn’t look like a hornet.

  8. It’s a maybug, I’ve had two in the house two weeks ago.

    I’m okay with most bugs but these are scary loud, especially when they’re bouncing off the lamp shade.

    I only seem to get them coming into the house once every few years.

  13. Never seen them my entire life but oddly have seen two of them in the last 3 days. Both were dead too. I’ve yet to see one live.

  14. May bug… the warm weather has brought them further North than they are supposed to be.

    It’s totally harmless to humans.
