Russia on fire warms my heart. Russia collapsing is a bonus.
Oh no. What a disaster.
This is a drilling rig for oil wells. Was it a blowout or an attack?
Well blowout.
They won’t learn, still smoking on the job!
They can just jack that tower back up. Easy peasy ! 😃 😊
Hmmm ..the employees may want to call in to see if they’re working on Monday. 😅
Zero days without an accident 🤣
Well that’s a total loss. Beautiful drop. The east German judge gives it 9.5.
Looks like they’re wanta do some horizontal drilling.
Uh, did anyone tell Bob to leave the office?
Another oil production plant down, another massive wave of economic degradation for Putin.
Looks like some rough necks gonna head to the front line now they can’t drill oil at that site.
Drilling rig, very expensive, and inconvenient.
Yamal is on fire
This is why I don’t mind paying taxes. A fire department would have been there. What a dismal place, and thanks to Trump cunts were going to look like Russia soon.
Accident free for the last 12 days… oh well!
The whole stack going down is hilarious 😆
Awesome!
One thing Russia has is plenty of drilling rigs. This is impressive looking but no big deal.
What’s russian for TIMBERRRR?
Bada-bing!
Stacking out, russkie style!
Drilling operation turned into an evacuation
Hey buddy… Can I get a light ?
The reporting says: “A fire broke out at the Kharapurneftegaz oil and gas facility in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO) on the evening of May 10. The blaze involved two oil and gas wells, burned through the night, and caused the collapse of one drilling rig. Three people were injured and remain in critical condition. The Kharapurneftegaz facility, operated by Belorusneft-Sibir, contributes to the region’s production of 2.3 million barrels of oil annually.”
How far is this from Ukraine?
What is the fire department doing?
I’m guessing the result of 3 things: most qualified workers have been sent to the meat grinder in Ukraine, non-existent maintenance on the BOP, and with all the holding tanks that have burned down they’re working these little drillers to failure. Anyone more versed in pumping/production can lend any ideas?
A metaphor for the MIGHTY ruZZian federation, rotten to the core.
I don’t think it was supposed to do that
Takes a big cigarette smoking error to drop a tower like that.
Uncontrolled Pressure Release. This is a Blowout. Worst Case Scenario on a drilling rig.
My background is offshore oil platforms. I’m thinking this is a double; 2 x 30′ pipe/60′?
Remember that black and white movie with John Wayne dancing in the black gold drenched in oil as they struck it rich? Yeah, not good.
This scene is what turned the state of California against oil. Pros and Cons ok. Just saying…
When you extract oil, from hundreds/thousands of feet down, you must control the pressures involved.
My intention for this post reply is for context of the visual you see, as I have seen it. I am no expert ok. I am confident that effort and resources to recover from this are extensive. Slava Ukraini!

This looks expensive.
But what do i know, i’m not an expert.
Kinda like the whole empire. Slow demise
Timber
I wonder if they’ll even be able to rebuild that.
I had to watch that more than once.
