  1. He’s desperate, since he has so far delivered nothing in the way of peace.
    But the Europeans and Ukraine said no talks in the absence of a ceasefire, which makes total sense.

    I’m warming to Trump being more on Ukraine side, he’s just a dementia ridden old man that goes with the last piece of info he sees and Putin not even showing up is pretty obvious

  12. Guys, Trump is setting up a heel-face turn. He has “successfully” gotten a mineral deal out of Ukraine and forced Ukraine to the table knowing Russia would never agree to any peace. Ukraine must be cowed enough to seriously offer a peace on current lines in seemingly good faith for it to work.

    Russia doesn’t want Donbass. It doesn’t want Kherson. It doesn’t want no Ukraine in NATO.

    It wants all of Ukraine.

    Ukraine giving up NATO and Donbass but getting EU plus keeping a huge army is not acceptable to Russia.

    This was always obvious to half the population and Trump is showing that to the other half. With the mineral deal in place (which is actually a fantastic deal for Ukraine) Trump has his realist stake in Ukraine to go all in

    So yet again putin is going to have unreasonable demands to make it look like kyiv doesn’t want peace.

Would be ballsy as fuck if Ukraine goes there and just end up saying no and you see Putin start to sweat because he assumed Ukraine would fold but they just played the long game well and got enough munition to deal even more damage to Russia over time. Russian economy is a total mess and Putin actually want it to stop even if he want to look though.

  25. Putin will agree to a ceasefire when he is out of supplies. With recent ammo hits, he is probably running out of ammo and has already run out of heavy equipment other than jets. Putin doesn’t have much of a war machine left. Stockpiles are depleted, and they are using whatever they can produce or purchase.
