Producer prices in Lithuania dropped by 3.5% year-on-year in April 2025, deepening from a 1.5% decline in the previous month.
This marked the fourth consecutive month of falling producer prices and the steepest in the sequence, as manufacturing costs continued to decrease further (-4.1% vs -2.5% in March).
At the same time, producer inflation slowed significantly for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (0.4% vs 6.8%), while water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities showed no growth (0% vs 0.7%).
Conversely, prices rebounded for mining and quarrying (0.3% vs -2.1%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices went down by 1.9% in April, following a 1.4% loss in the preceding period.
