Hi,

Anyone got a good scenic spot to camp for one night with a roof top tent on the dark blue route? If there are any great attractions and places to visit along the way, feel free to post them as well. I will be traveling to Preikestolen on the light blue route, and back with the darker blue route.

All tips and advice are appreciated!

  3. If you have a RTT on your car, the options for great spots will be essentially endless. Pick a road less traveled, gravel (often bom-peng, essentially a private toll road) and park ‘au nature’. Respect area, no offroad driving, leave no trace, etc.

    Avoid tunnels where possible and ‘drive over’ [the mountain pass]. A simple example; avoid Dyrskar tunnel on E134 and you’ll find plenty of spaces to pull off the road.
