Let’s hope we elect normality for our country’s path!
that’s at least 200 people.
For the first time in my adult life I will be voting for a presidential candidate whom I respect and admire!
I just hope the Romanian anger and vengefulness will not outweigh the desire for progress and justice.
This is the first time we are not voting for the least evil.
How long until he gets arrested for “reasons” by the current government?
Is that his wife or another political leader?
I’m not Romanian, but my boyfriend is, and I’ve been following your elections since last year. Wishing you all the best in choosing the right candidate — Nicușor really seems like a light at the end of the tunnel.
“Mihaela, dragostea mea!”
When do you have the second round to end this emotional rollercoaster?
So, I saw the results of the first election, and he got 20,9% of the votes, and he’s going up against Simon in the runoff who got 40% of the votes.
Realistically speaking, what chances does he have in the runoff?
Is that the guy who resorted to imprisoning his main political opponent with fake charges? You know, to really make those fair and democratic elections as fair and democratic as possible? Or was that in Bulgaria
Let us trust that, amidst these gathering clouds, there lies a silver lining, one that shall shine upon the European Union and Romania.
I was there! Let’s go Romania! We will reject fascism.
Seeing a lot of hope in that picture
Europe is the way, especially today
I am Romanian diaspora (parents moved here to the US when I was 9 in 2014). Glad to say me and my dad will be voting for him at the consulate 🙏🏽
Where are Romanian flags?
Did you guys see who The Economist was supporting?
I was there! Amazing rally and the weather was just perfect. The whole street was shut down and you could walk down to get some ice cream. My 4 year old daughter loved it too!
We also had such a rally for our pro-European candidate, we had our hopes up, and then we elected a government servant.
