Please can they just seize all rusdian assets and use them to fund military and humanitarian aid and reparations for Ukraine. Russia has breached international laws ever day for at least the last 3 1/4 years, committing genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity- all the time denying this, yet rewarding and glorifying its perpetrators.
There is no way Russia will accept culpability for its behaviour, pay reparations nor handover Putin snd his war criminal siloviki to face justice. So the accountable nations HAVE to take Russian assets as a partial remedy and to teach Russia and other Wannabe genocidaires there are sanctions that can be used that are highly significant. Only rotten corrupt snd unaccountable nations will fear such sanctions.
