Poland says it will close one of Russia’s consulates after finding that Russian agents were behind an arson attack on a shopping center. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pushed back, calling the allegation that Moscow was behind the fire “completely baseless” and accusing Warsaw of “Russophobia.”
(I know what they meant but I still find it funny)
reminder, “phobia” means irrational fear, there’s nothing irrational about being cautious of those orks
oh boi I do love being rusophobic
Niech jedza gowno, r*skie skurwysyny
Sikorski said about Poland: “Syf dupa i kamieni kupa” but yeah keep vote for KO
Japa, bocie
Someone please tell me this is The Onion. Russian spies didn’t try to burn down a mall in Krakow, right? …right?
Nie Russofobia ale Putinofobia.
Okay, so I’m not Polish, I’m not even European.. but as an American citizen, I am moderately hypervigilant about propaganda, and though I’d never say this can’t be true (because it definitely, most certainly could be), propaganda becomes more and more effective in the modern age. In America, some of us at least aware that certain stories are ‘tee’d up’, meaning that they were deliberately crafted and planted.
In an ideal world, everybody just leaves each other well enough alone, but this is no ideal world. It might be safe to say that Russia’s reactivity (though seemingly paranoid) is little different than Europe’s reactivity. Is it easy to justify holding back aggressors as righteous and necessary? Yes, absolutely and by all means. Is it essential to the EU interests that countries such as Poland continue to play the largest supportive role in this conflict? Also yes. Did this fire happen a year ago? It seems so. Is playing the primary role in supporting Ukraine taxing upon Poland? Absolutely. I’m not there but there’s no doubt about that.
Freedom isn’t free, and I’m quickly learning that nobody knows that better than the Polish people. But propaganda is real and international, fueled by an internet connected world which is in essence double edged, and it seems that while sometimes Poland is skeptical of the EU, it must be acknowledged that our deepest fears are the most fertile ground for manifesting… Well, our deepest fears…
The attack was a year ago. F*** anyone who intentionally starts a fire to harm others, no matter the case… But ask yourself what it means in the grand scheme of managing conflict with Russia. Avoiding escalation into war requires strict mindfulness.
This is not to say that any of this is not absolutely true, but rather that it is unclear in meaning and practicality, and focused mindfulness on the NOW is the best state of mind 🙏

What was the “Evidence” ?
It’s not phobia, it’s disgust.
Russophobia? My boy you people have been attacking Poland since the Middle Ages. Let Poland live.
Yes… a Russian spy set fire to a warehouse—not an ammo depot like in the Czech Republic, but a warehouse with clothes near Warsaw… Seems legit to me.
In my opinion, they’re starting to lay the groundwork for sending troops to Ukraine…
“Russophobia” otherwise know as common fucking sense
dmitry, you are a parody of yourself

A phobia is an irrational fear. Russia playing the angel is so old…I’m sick of it. I’m glad at least ONE country on earth is “russophobic”.
Hey Dimitri! Cyka blyat!
Weak response tbh
A phobia is a fear. I don’t fear Russia, Russia confusing fear with pure hatred once again.
when they say “rusophobia”
