Ruston, La. (KNOE) – Louisiana Tech University’s College of Business and School of Accountancy are boasting an achievement that landed them among less than 6% of the world’s business schools.
Louisiana Tech’s COB and School of Accountancy received reaccreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.
AACSB’s standards hold prestige in the business world. More than 1,000 institutions worldwide have earned AACSB accreditation, and only 197 institutions hold supplemental AACSB accreditation for their accounting programs.
Louisiana Tech’s COB has been accredited by the AACSM since 1955, and the university’s School of Accountancy was one of the first 20 schools nationwide to receive separate accounting accreditation and the first in Louisiana.
