BROOKLYN — Double U Development plans to convert the historic two-story building at 144 Greenpoint Ave., formerly Polonaise Terrace and Brooklyn Bazaar, into a six-story mixed-use complex with 35 apartments and 6,200 square feet of retail, reports the Real Deal.
The currently vacant property, set in the Greenpoint Historic District, was purchased for $8.9 million and requires Landmarks Preservation Commission approval for vertical expansion.
