Among the topics in the firing line, climate studies, research on AIDS, and the history of segregation. As a result, thousands of American researchers have lost their grants or have been laid off. Protesters have been taken to the streets to defend academic freedom. Some professors have gone even further, including this philosopher who is considering leaving the US. In a democracy, universities are there to teach the facts. They’re not there to to breed patriotism. 1. Europe, including France, has just augmented $500 million dollars in grants to attract American scientists. Soon the USA will be the dumbest nation on Earth.

  2. Leave them to wallow in their ignorance, arrogance and braggadocio. Someone will forget where the Beast's keys are, what the combination to the football is and how to fly AF1 and on that day that's it, they're fucked. The film is called Dumbocracy. It's a prophecy coming true before your very eyes.

  3. France doesn’t have such money,France has too many regulations science involves some failures in France you will be sued billions for those mistakes there was a reason why science is died in Europe,go there at your risks

  4. Scientists are like Trump the look for a better deal abroad. They won't stay in the US just because it's supposedly great.

  5. If so called scientist can tell the difference between a man and woman they are far from the most intelligent they are ret@rds

  6. For decades now some of the best and brightest of the world flocked to the U.S. to study and work, but that is about to end as the U.S. has become hostile to visitors and science in general with the current administration. So much for maintaining global leadership in technology and innovation.

  7. If 75% of scientists leave the usa that's it..everything is over…their economy, environment and people would just die off.

  8. We are seeing a repeat of history, this time the other way around.
German scientists, like Einstein, once fled Europe for America.
Now American scientists flee America for Europe.
