  1. My heart goes out to the brave heroes and to the fallen heroes who sacrificed their life so that the next generation will be free.

People of Ukraine. Never forget this.

  2. Badassery knows no bounds nor gender in Ukraine. Слава Україні!

  3. Slava heroim (hope I said that right). She’s a F’ing badass, hero and inspiration.

  4. A family of heroes. Slava Ukraini, the Greeks salute you.

  5. Never mess with Nurses. They are all so badass, you have no idea how f’d up you will be.

  6. Bravery wears many faces and heroes come in all forms. In America we just celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday and I am in awe of this mother who lost a son to this terrible war, finding the strength to fight back and save others. Truly brave and a hero indeed.

  7. Happy mothers day hero and sorry for your loss.

  8. Definitely a hero. I probably couldn’t do what she did and I don’t know anyone who could. Massive respect.

  9. True inspiration and absolute balls of steel for this hero, hope she sees the end to this war

  10. Some people say women have no place in the military, She is an example of why they are needed. She has earned her place in the pages of heroes. Slava ukraini

  11. A saying of mine feels fitting.

“Sometimes it takes a little crazy to get shit done”

  12. What a strong and heroically brave woman who has been through so much and she’s still not broken.

    Slava Ukraini!

  13. Call it preventative medicine.

    Hats off to Svitlana! o7

  14. Condolences for the loss of your son Svitlana, you have truly honoured his memory with your bravery.

  15. This is a super sad story. Because of what she had to go through (lost her son), and because of what war forced her to do.

There is nothing glorious about war. It makes people loose the most precious they have in life, their children.
It makes people do things they never wanted to do.

(And to be 100 % clear: I do not think she did anything wrong. It‘s what about war imposes on us. )

  16. When Russia decided to attack Ukraine, they had forgotten that Ukraine had defended both Ukraine and Russia with a loss of 4 million Ukrainian lives. And they never broke. When the US finally fought across Germany to meet the Russian Army, the people they met were actually Ukrainians, who were in the front lines of the Russian advance. I am just so sorry that the US president has been such a sorry specimen of humanity. But the end is in sight, though Putin is too blind to see it.

  17. She looks like my mom. I lost her over 24 years ago. Dam that’s awesome. She looks like she gives great hugs. Slave Ukraine hero.

  18. Holy cow! That’s some movie story right there. I really hope she lives in peace with enough money to go on vacations

  19. Reminds me the WW2 US dentist who held off a Japanese attack
