  1. I’d be interested in knowing how it costs €1100 a day to run a jacks.

  2. Now what about the only other toilet on the Northside that was closed?

  3. Open to correction here but is there not an old public toilet building about 25 yards away on the same Stephen’s green corner ?

Could have redeveloped that for the same price

  4. The cost is a joke. Slap up a few of those communal urinals. Every other city I’ve been to doesn’t need to pay a fulltime staff to watch a jacks ffs.

  5. They could have the Amsterdam style outdoor urinals that just need to be sprayed down every couple of hours, this would only help males though it could alleviate traffic to these ones for ladies

  6. All I’m seeing is there’s a massive gap in the market for paid toilets around the city. Easy to get permits as the city looks competent.

  7. When I was in Austria they had public toilets every where. They cost 1 euro to get in. I would gladly pay to use a clean toilet . Why don’t they have more of them around the city and just charge for the upkeep

  8. Can’t they just charge like 50c or something dirt cheap and it’ll pay for itself.
