Today, Mikita Zalatarou turns 21—in prison. He was just 16 when he was arrested for standing up for freedom in Belarus. He spent his teenage years behind bars, beaten and denied medical care. Mikita, you are not forgotten. All political prisoners must be released.

1. I personally just feel really bad for Belarus, it’s an example of what would’ve happened if we didn’t rise up in 2013, really sad, hope the Lukashenko regime falls some day soon

2. It is too mean. Dictators should not be tolerated.

3. I fear that this will happen to university students who are currently political prisoners in Turkey. This situation can never be normalized. My whole heart is with the political prisoners in Russia and Belarus
