I hope as a result of this news and the happy outcome, at least one woman does not miss their screening appointment and more lives are saved by earlier diagnosis.

Hope Butler makes a full recovery. She’s got a lot more force of personality than a lot of the cabinet, and stands by her ethics.
Even if she is a bit inflammatory for Starmer’s cabinet, she is also someone who wants to hold the Tories to account. Labour needs politicians who can make headlines.
I had a cancer scare last year. For most of the year I thought I had lymphoma to be told it could be thyroid cancer. There is a lump on my thyroid and I have a few swollen lymph nodes but luckily they are benign.
If you literally suspect anything for any reason don’t put it off. It could kill you.
