  4. Republicans are claiming victory although this will do nothing that they parroted tariffs would do.

    This will not bring manufacturing back to the US.

    This will not allow tariffs to replace income tax.

    This will not open China’s markets to US goods and services.

    This will not undo the idiotic perception that China is “ripping us off”.

    All republicans are uneducated losers and they fell for it again.

  5. again i feel like people are not realizing there is still going to be a 30% tariff on goods from china (wasn’t there before only select things), a 10% tariff on other countries currently or long term (UK), a 25% tariff on imported cars and auto parts.

    people reacting like the trade war is over need a reality check, this is still marching off a cliff just at a slower pace.

  6. China stopped export of rare earths to the US. The US then capitulated. This could be a trade part of a possible US “Suez crisis” moment.

  7. Marketing 101. If I double the price of my product then lower it 70% you think you got a good deal even though the product costs 30% more. This is still a big regressive tax.
