Yeah I don’t know about everyone else but if I was auctioning off some bullshit prize like “be my personal assistant and roadie for a day” and someone with MS bought it, I wouldn’t accept their money.
I hope Gene wasn’t an insufferable prick to them and was actually decent.

I hope this guy is well off enough that this wasn’t earmarked for medical care/assistance etc. $12k is a lot of money in this economy, I thought it was thought through and it was affordable.

I would have changed my opinion of Mr Simmons if he returned the money. But he didn’t so I won’t.
