These type of studies tend to exaggerate the emissions of people who technically use renewable for their cooking, heating, transportation, and farming.
I’d have to cook with my twig stove for like a decade before I get to the foot print of manufacturing an electric stove.
The headline floating around saying the top 10% produce about 7 times the emissions, is much more plausible to me.
Reminder that MANY of us are part of that 10% – as of this 2020 [Oxfam report](https://www.oxfam.org/en/press-releases/carbon-emissions-richest-1-percent-more-double-emissions-poorest-half-humanity) the richest 10% in the world are those who make more than $38 000 USD net per year.
