I’ve been living in the PNW for a while.  It’s not like I expected.  Rain forests everywhere, but there’s a summer drought.  It’s still early in May and it’s not really raining anymore, could be until November that we get much or any.  That’s hard for agriculture, for cities, and for dealing with the fires every year.  Those glaciers are our water source in August and September.  The rivers would be almost dry without them.  Losing them will be a profound change.
