  1. ***From The Times:***

President Trump hailed a “golden age of the Middle East” as he urged nations of the region to abandon conflict and embrace prosperity in partnership with the US, led by the example of his hosts in Saudi Arabia.

Trump extolled the kingdom for being at the heart of a region of “opportunity and hope” rather than “war and death” as he encouraged Iran’s leaders to abandon their nuclear ambitions and join an era of peace and wealth — or face terrible consequences.

He signed an arms deal worth $142 billion with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh that he proclaimed was the largest in history and part of more than a trillion dollars in investment in the US that Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) would pledge during his three-day visit.

“People will come from all over the globe to be inspired by the cities you build, the businesses you create, the technologies you invent and the beauty, talent and potential you unleash right in the hearts of your citizens,” Trump told his hosts, who treated his speech like a rally that was opened by his campaign theme song, Lee Greenwood’s *God Bless the USA*, and closed with *YMCA* by the Village People, as he shook hands on stage with Mohammed.

Trump concluded that the Middle East was “at the dawn of the bright new day” if it turned away from centuries of enmity and terror

  2. US where your president? This guy seems like merchant, only thing he is interested is trade, no politics no situation analysis nothing. Straight up business.

  3. I would’ve agreed if the title ends at ‘not war’.

  4. Don’t make war. Here are all the weapons you purchased.
