I quite enjoyed it. Nice seeing what people have done to their homes.
I only have a 19 inch tube TV and think it’s offensive you flaunting your large flatscreen here. Really out of touch.
Some people are far worse off than you and equally some are much better off. It isn’t out of touch, it’s just reality.
Didn’t we do the outrage on this months ago?
What’s wrong with it? The judges reactions are all very staged but I like looking at interesting houses all the same.
It is tone deaf if you are under 40 but RTÉ’s main demographic are all older home owners and that’s all they care about. They won’t exist in a decade anyway so who cares.
I’m getting jealousy vibes from OP
I look at HOTY kind of how I look at clothes in Brown Thomas.
Like I’ll really admire them, admire the colour, the cut, the fabric…. then realise a €3k dress isn’t realistic for me nor does it fit with my lifestyle. Same as when I watch these kind of shows.
I know I wont be able to afford what’s on at the moment but it’s nice to look. Plus I’m nosey as hell so it’s no different to me looking at really expensive houses on Daft.
How dare people have a home but not you. And they’re *proud* of it!? The nerve!
Yes and a sous vide machine
I think my point has been completely missed. It’s not the people in the show fair fucks to them. It’s great and I love to see people doing well. My point is that it’s the national broadcaster that we are all legally obligated to pay money to if we own a TV. Of its on virgin or whatever no problems.
